The Position

We work in teams of dedicated Partners and Consultants who perform assignments across all major industries and key functions at the executive and board levels. While the Partners are responsible for winning senior-level executive search assignments, representing August Leadership in the global market and executing assignments to the highest standards of quality – the Consultants work with and support the Partners in managing executive search assignments.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Executive Search
  • Strong communication and assessment abilities applied to evaluating business experiences and professional competencies of top executive talent as they relate to a client’s specific need
  • Develop deep and insightful candidate pool knowledge over time which would be related to a specific industry, function, or geography

Research & Executive/ C-level Recruitment
  • Support Partners in the execution of C – Level engagements for global clients across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas
  • Engage in headhunting and profiling of candidates
  • Contribute actively to the search by participating in client kick-off calls with the Partner(s) and assisting in the development of the search strategy and target list of companies
  • Gather relevant information regarding the appropriate industries and target companies, including identifying potential prospects and sources
  • Anticipate needs to drive the search to closure and be prepared to supply additional information, such as related industry trends, market findings, reaction to the opportunity, compensation data, etc.
  • Adopt and adhere diligently to the firm’s policies and standards for candidate validation, documentation and assessment as well as demonstrating professional behaviour through adopting our values

Knowledge Management
  • Ensure up to date assignment, company and candidate information during an assignment is always available for colleagues, by leveraging technology and information from the Firm’s state-of-the-art, exclusive database (Ezekia), recording all relevant candidate details and search activities
  • Be aware of activities and changes in general business and in the industry/functional areas where specialized

Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelors’ level graduate from a top-tier university in any relevant discipline
  • 0 – 2 years of experience
  • Self-directed, independent and highly proactive, with strong drive to deliver with the highest quality (accurate, detail-oriented, hands-on)
  • Have a strong personal impact with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent research and writing skills
