Arne began his professional career as a sales manager at a trading company before going on to assume a position as Head of Sales with a globally operating manufacturer of shop design products. After six years, he joined a big media wholesaler, where he took on a role as management board member, assuming responsibility for purchasing, sales, and logistics. He entered the world of consulting in 2001 by joining one of Germany’s leading human capital advisory firms. After five years as a consultant, he was appointed to the company’s Management Board in 2007, where he was put in charge of the Personnel Consulting and Personnel Diagnostics units. He joined August Leadership in 2021. 

Arne studied education at the University of Hamburg. Ten years later he studied economics at The University of Hagen.   

He is a trained management coach and an expert in digitization and technology in recruiting. He is also chairman of the executive board of the Association of Executive Search in the Federal Association of German Management Consultancies.
