Carolyn’s expertise spans critical leadership roles such as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Product Officer (CPO), Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Chief Digital Officer (CDO), with a strong focus on emerging areas including AI/ML, eCommerce, Gaming, FinTech, HealthTech, PropTech, Enterprise Software, and Cloud Technologies. Before joining August Leadership, Carolyn was a Senior Partner at a retained executive search firm in Seattle, focusing on innovative technology companies worldwide. Prior to that, she led executive search for a global travel company. Earlier in her career, she worked with three of the world’s largest executive search firms, based in the US, Japan, and Australia. Now residing in Australia, Carolyn conducts executive searches both locally and globally, helping companies secure transformational leadership talent. She is passionate about driving business success by identifying and attracting exceptional executives who can lead innovation and change. Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History from the University of Melbourne. A passionate home cook, she enjoys exploring new recipes and supporting her local farmers’ market. When not in the kitchen, she can be found hiking or planning her next travel adventure.
