James Theodore is a distinguished leader in executive search with over 30 years of experience in the global hospitality, gaming, and travel industries. He is highly regarded for his global track record building C-suite and general management leadership teams that unlock enduring business and organizational legacies.
Prior to joining August Leadership, Jim was the founder and managing director of Exeter Partners, headquartered in Boston, where he advised and partnered with global and domestic clients in hospitality, gaming, and travel. His clients ranged from Fortune 100 Companies to start-ups as well as entrepreneurial organizations. Jim has successfully led numerous senior-level global searches in the Americas, Caribbean, EU, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Previously, Jim led the travel and leisure practice for two major global search firms.
In his free time, Jim writes a book that studies iconic military and business leaders. He is also an avid golfer, enjoying courses in the UK and Asia Pacific.
