Michelle Partipilo is a Partner at August Leadership with over 17 years of experience in executive search. Originally from Toronto, Michelle has lived and worked across Canada, including Vancouver, Regina, and Calgary, where she now resides. Throughout her career, Michelle has partnered with top-tier executive search firms and has managed her own portfolio of client companies, focusing on C-suite, VP, and Board-level searches across a broad spectrum of industries, including aviation and aerospace, sports and entertainment, technology, not-for-profit, travel and hospitality, and alternative energy.
Michelle’s expertise extends beyond recruitment to advisory work in leadership, organizational culture, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies, and organizational transformation. She has a deep passion for helping organizations build leadership teams that can drive sustainable success and navigate the challenges of today’s business landscape.
Her public speaking engagements include industry conferences and graduate schools such as NACO Canada, the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business, and Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business. Michelle is also an active member of the business community, having contributed to organizations such as the Vancouver Board of Trade, the Company of Young Professionals (CYP), and the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE). Dedicated to philanthropy, Michelle has supported a variety of causes, including the Junior Achievement – Canadian Business Hall of Fame Selection Committee, Holiday Helper, Covenant House – Sleep Out (Vancouver), BC Children’s Wish Foundation, and the SPCA.
