Anke Janssen brings over two decades of executive search expertise to August Leadership, specializing in board-level and senior executive appointments across life sciences, technology, and high-growth private equity–backed ventures. With international experience spanning the United States, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Germany, she works with multibillion-dollar corporates across North America and Europe, particularly within the life sciences and industrial manufacturing sectors. Anke partners with clients to build diverse, cross-border leadership teams that drive transformation and sustainable growth.
Prior to joining August Leadership, Anke was Group Managing Director of a boutique executive search firm, where she led a multilingual team across Europe and North America. She has partnered with organizations from global life sciences and technology giants to PE-backed, high-growth ventures. Passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Anke helps clients amplify their DEI agendas through talent mapping and engagement, while also co-developing integrated leadership development and business transformation programs with organizational development consultancies.
Anke is also a committed philanthropist, supporting local welfare initiatives such as Hamburger Tafel e.V., which provides essential resources to non-profits. Outside of work, Anke’s enthusiasm for learning new cultures and staying active through mountain biking reflects the energy and curiosity she brings to every client engagement.
