Anke has a long-standing career in executive search and has conducted board level and senior executive mandates across a range of geographies and industry sectors. A German national, Anke has worked and lived in the United States, Belgium, Russia, and the United Kingdom. She brings an international perspective and a strong cultural sensitivity to her clients. Clients value her ability to work collaboratively across borders and engage in long-term partnerships to build leadership internationally. Her drive for excellence partnered with her energetic, honest, and discretionary approach have made her an integral part of any organization.
Prior to joining August Leadership, Anke worked in a boutique executive search firm as group managing director with a team of multilingual experts across Europe and North America who covered a wide range of business, from established life sciences and tech conglomerates to PE-backed, high-growth businesses. Anke is passionate about Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and helping clients build their agendas through talent mapping & engagement. She has also worked on integrated leadership development & business transformation propositions in cooperation with an organizational development consultancy.
Anke holds a Master’s degree in Political and Economic Science from the Carl von Ossietzky University in Germany and completed in 2018 a postgraduate certificate in Organizational Design from the renowned NTL OD Institute, USA. She is a supporter of the Hamburger Tafel e.v. (hamburger-tafel.de) – a registered association that supplies various non-profit organizations and welfare centers across Hamburg with groceries.
In her spare time, Anke enjoys mountain biking, audiobooks, learning Spanish, and traveling.
