Ken Greger

With an impressive depth of domestic and international experience, Ken is well-regarded as a thought leader and advisor to the travel and hospitality industry. Clients appreciate his immersive approach to understanding their business, strategic objectives, and the company’s DNA, and his crafting of a search strategy to achieve the desired outcome.

Ken has worked with businesses of all sizes throughout the US and beyond, from start-up companies to public Fortune 500 organizations, filling C-suite positions as well as senior and middle management roles. He is a frequent speaker and author.

Ken started his career with Deloitte & Touche (now Deloitte). From there, he entered the world of executive search and consulting (including several years with KPMG in Los Angeles), working for three global search firms as well as achieving success with his own firm, Greger/Peterson Associates, Inc., a highly regarded retained search firm. Ken is also a former rock drummer and admits that there is no such thing as a ‘former’ rock drummer!

Ken is a long-standing member of the ALIS Planning Committee and serves on the HSMAI Foundation Board of Directors. He is also a Mentor in the Phocuswright Startup Program that debuted in 2018. He has served multiple times as a member of the selection committee for Venture Northwest and is on the Advisory Board for two tech companies. Ken has also served as a board member for The Association for Corporate Growth and The Portland Creative Conference.

Mike Leven, Former President & Chief Operating Officer, Las Vegas Sands Corp, on Ken Greger:

“A search firm is a key ingredient to the future success of an organization, but it must have executives who have extraordinary insight into the real nature of the marriage they are trying to accomplish. That happens only when their executives truly work to understand what makes a good match. Such an executive is Ken Greger. What separates him from the rest is his desire to understand the deep human characteristics of both candidate and executive. The technical skills are always secondary to the human ones. Hence he is an example that differentiates him from the rest.”
